Default convertible top help

Hi so i know for a fact the top was replaced on my car. The top looks pretty good but it looks like whoever did the work misssed something. see in the picture the back window and top arent glued together. What would be the best glue for me to use to put those together if im even supposed to use glue. Any input is very much appreciated

I'm not sure if that area is supposed to be glued together. I know mine has a piece of soft velcro there to keep the top from hitting the glass when the top is up.

I don't have any velcro on my '05 with glass. I don't even think there is suppose to be any. I had my S for 3 years without an issue. Seems fine to me.

That's supposed to be like that so when you retract the top it's able to fold without binding. Do not glue it.

You can stick your finger inside the actual car or just behind the flap??

I can stick my finger in really far back under the flap. I usually have to when I apply rain-X to the rear window.
