Costco Coverking Stormshield vs. Covercraft 5-Layer All Climate
Any thoughts on which is the better longer-lasting outdoor cover for UV/rain/snow protection, and hopefully stays on when windy?
Coverking (from Costco)
This is single layer microfiber claiming 360T thread count per square inch.
Covercraft
This is 5-layer with 4 year warranty.
Thanks in advance for any comments!

No indoor storage in New York? Even indoors a car cover can abrade the surface when putting it on or off. Outdoors you'll get moisture and dirt (mildew) trapped under the cover plus even a slight breeze "sanding" the paint. A cover over a frame, like you can see at most marinas, keeps the cover off the surface and allows air circulation under the cover. I watched another S2000 owner winter-store his in a "U-Store-It" single bay room for several years.

I had a covercraft one on a different car, didn't hold up very well outside. I don't think any of the outdoor covers are very good, I'd opt for giving the car a good wax/ceramic coat instead.
I agree along with the "tent" cover Chuck S suggested. Costco has those as well. I have used less expensive (<$100) covers Costco had for my "beater" airport cars for decades. I was not too concerned about the paint; I wanted the car to be clean when I got back from a 12 day trip. They last about 2 years. I do have one of those for the S2000 inside my garage. I only use it when the car has been washed and cleaned. I also use Avalon King ceramic coating on it.
