So my car is Sebring Silver. I bought an OEM AP2 Primered bumper with CR holes drilled from Honda. The deal also came with a Berlina Black CR Front spoiler. So my question to you guys is, should I repaint it Sebring Silver or leave it Berlina Black? I don't have a problem with either to tell you the truth, but I just want input from the community. Also, is 500 bucks too cheap for having both painted or is that about right? Thanks for your input guys.
$500 is WAY expensive.... this doesn't need to be blended because of the angle it meets the bumper... My lip cost $300 for professional paint and install, and it was a LOT of prep work and instal time (Its a cheap cheap lip)
LOL. I know but you're in Canada. Here in San Diego, it's expensive. My first estimate was 631 bucks(not including install). My second was 500 to have both painted. I have to go to two more places then I'll make a choice as to where. It's still expensive but it shows you that these shops stay in business by making insurance claims. Hell, my wife got some small scratches from a tree branch on the drivers side quarter panel. No actual hit what so ever, and it even looks like it could be "buffed out". I took it to the first place mentioned earlier 2700 bucks!!! They wanted to replace all my seals and remove the glass. She knew what she was talking about but 2700 for a few scratches that can hardly be seen was outrageous. I told her I wanted to pay out of pocket since I did not want to get my insurance involved. It's hard to find an honest painter that wont take all your money in San Diego, and does a decent job. Im not even looking for blending. Just Sebring Silver. LOL. That's it. LOL
