Default Driving on week old Paint

So i just got my s painted in cali and im gunna be driving it a week later to florida. Last year my brother did the same with his rsx-s and he had a bunch of chip marks all over his bumper and hood because he hit snow. So i was thinking of just tapeing up the entire front of the car. Or even buying a bra. What do you guys recommend for the drive?

wait 1 month for the clear to seal. I would still tape the car up.

The clear is curred in a few days, the tape wont effect it.

Tape it for the ride to FL, and then take the tape off while your in FL. Don't clear bra it, your supposed to wait a certain amount of time to clear bra a car anyway after you paint it.

Thanks for the input fellas. So when i go to pull off the masking tape it wont pull any paint right. The car is suzuka so blue tape wont make it look to bad. Either way I'm more worried about the paint then what a few truckers will think.

there are two levels of blue painters tape.

tape in the direction the wind will flow over the car, like shingles for rain. The blue tape will get peeled off by wind if you tape in the wrong direction.

ive driven from nc to cali 3 times...awsome drive!!! twice in my old car (rsx type s) and once in my buddys blazer.....gettin ready to do a forth trip back to cali....cant wait!!! anyways....watch out for TRUCKERS!!! espcially if starts raining...they dont hydroplane easy so they drive like a$$holes in the rain!!! also dont drive behind them for the sake of ur fresh paint and windsheild....tape or a bra would be an awsome idea!!! id do the bra for the fact it wont be as time consuming and easier to do...other than that enjoy the drive!!!
