I've personally never been a fan of euro lights, so after much hesitation I went ahead and tinted the taillights red. I used VHT night shades and clear, I sprayed a little too much red and went a bit darker than planed but unless the police gives me any trouble I'll leave them as is.

 

VHT nightshade tint is horrible after a couple months. If I were you I would remove the lights and pour some paint thinner or gas to remove it before it ruins the lights. I did the same thing to my previous car and it looked terrible after a couple months.

 

Some of my friends have had tinted taillights for over a year with no problems.

sorry but that looks pretty bad... oem ap2 taillights looks the best as is

 

i cant say i am a fan but its your car, imho i think they look their best with clear tails.
