I do the same thing except with probably even more distance if I can. No clear bra, just staying back.

The best thing I have found for front end protection, is not to drive to close to the cars in front of you. You should see the difference between my tailgating wifes car and mine.

If you actually are able to find one with a front end that isn't chipped already and doesn't have a clear bra then I would consider one, especially if you do a lot of freeway driving. Ps: never tailgate anyone.

Yeah, the one that is looking very probably as far as my getting it, has absolutely no chips or scratches of any kind. It has rarely been driven. Its black which isn't my first choice due to the difficulty in maintaining the paint appearance, but the car is perfect.

Who usually does these clear bra things? Like a tint place or where? If I ever remove the bra, will the paint be damaged during the removal process?

Some tint shops will also do paint protection work (what a "clear bra" is). Some auto detail shops will also do it. I would recommend NOT going cheap on the install. It is not an easy job and the S2000's front bumper is pretty complex (takes almost 2 hrs to just apply it there). They last a long time and are pretty impervious to scratches/tears of any kind. If you remove the bra down the line your paint will be fine - no damage whatsoever. I don't know about BB but on my NFR S2000 you can barely even tell the bra is there until you are just a few feet away.

As a cost reference I just had a clear bra put on my car a few weeks ago (first one was destroyed in an accident). It cost $675.
