Default got repaired

My car(berlina black) was at the shop i take it to consistantly(ive had bad luck with this car) and got the fender replaced.
They repainted my bumper/lip, blended into the door but did not touch the hood. Isnt that something they would blend??????? I dont wanna go back and complain and look like a jackass if it is not an area you would do that with. I was under the impression it was since its basically touching a part that got fresh paint.
Also my door handle was taken off(says in the paper work)....my question is why????? because now the damn thing feels TOTALLY different,...it opens with much less easy, i can open it with my pinky finger and then when it gets to the fully opened position, it feels as well as looks to be flexing where the other door handle is feels pretty solid when it reaches the fully lifted position. I am for sure taking it back about the door handle but the blending thing i wanna make sure is something they should have done.

Normally no, it depends on the insurance company. It's almost an act of god that you got your door blended. Considering your car is black. For the door Handel it sounds like that metal brace didn't go back in. Take it back and have them fix the Handel.

i went back and they said originally the service writer was having it done but the dumb insurance said "no. unless it HAS to be done"..........kinda bummed but o well, just gonna get a REAL detail and hope it looks better than new paint.
The door handle issue they said there is just an adjustment that you can loosen or tighten so i am gonna look into that.

there would be no reason to even blend the door actually. The purpose of a blend is to hide color difference. In metallic colors and colors with many variants. Black is black and can be panel painted and match every time. Will just look more black due to the clear coat being new. A buff and polish on the rest of the car and it will all look just as good. Reason for taking the door handle out would be since there is that very small strip of rubber hat is in between the handle and door. There is no way to cleanly mask that off without having a terrible edge that would eventually cause the clear to peel around it. So to be safe, that would be removed for painting purposes.

black isn't black, there are many different sades of black. It could come out with a brownish tinge or blue, yellow... so on and so on....
