I've been running alloy craft brackets on my hardtop for a couple years now, but have recently decided to remove the top and reinstall the OEM hardtop latches. One latch went back on fine but the other side will not thread properly. Clearly I don't want to just force it in, so I'm wondering what my options are. Should I just try to tap it or is there a better solution?
