Hi, I've got a 2008 S2000 and the headlight coating is peeling away. is that something that can be repaired/re-applied or do the headlights need replacing?

You can sand them and then clearcoat or polish or polymerize

I recommend sanding starting between 220 and 320 depending, then proceed 400 to 600 to 800. Then applying a 2k clear. You can drop off at your favorite body shop once prepped and they can spray them next time they're laying clear for another project and will likely only charge like $50. Or you can get the Spraymax 2k clear in a rattle can off Amazon and DIY. Recommend wearing a chemical respirator as 2k clear is pretty toxic stuff.
