Default Help bypassing the softtop

Hey guys, so my car is torn apart currently pending the arrival of my new motor and like a genius I left the top down. Well I now need to bypass the softtop motor and put the top up, or atleast get it half way up so I can take my fuel pump hanger out and work on it like I need to do. I did some searching around but does anyone know how to bypass the motor, hotwire it, or be able to move the softtop with no motors at all?

Thanks for the help

man handle it up very slowly and without jerking. Put two people can lift it with constant pressure and the top will lift without damaging the frame or motor.

Good luck

Perfect thank you. I am going to try and close the top tonight with my buddy just ovewrpowering the motors. I have more than enough left to do on the car without adding another thing to do on the check-list lol
