Default Lip on an AP2

Hi guys, I keep thinking about putting a lip on my S2000 (06 Suzuka Blue) but I am really on the fence as to whether or not I like the look. When I see a lip it just looks too much like an afterthought and doesn't really seem to flow well with the rest of the car. Yet other times at certain angles I do like the look.

I'm going to be getting an OEM AP1 spoiler put on and I figure if I ever buy a lip it would be done at the same time as the spoiler. I know something like this is entirely subjective, so I am welcome to any pictures anyone has--or better yet, alternative lips to OEM that I may end up preferring.

Thanks.

This is the first time I've seen someone state they dont like the oem lip. If you are on the fence then I'd say save your money. You're likely going to feel the same way after you buy and install the lip.

When I bought mine I was kinda on the fence about it, but after getting used to it I love it. I had to take it off a few weeks ago to fix a scratch and the front of the car looked really bare and un-aggressive. I think the OEM bumper looks good alone only from low angles for some reason.

And before...

Yeah, it seems like I'm the only person who doesn't completely like the look. I probably need to see a few in person before I decide. I guess the part that bugs me about it is that it looks tacked on (which of course it is) rather than being molded to the bumper itself. If it were all one flowing piece there would be no question in my mind. I don't particularly feel like paying someone to mold a lip to my bumper and then repaint it though.

Swift GT -- thanks for the pictures.

The AP1 Spoiler and the OEM lip is a good clean and simple look. I have that exact setup. You can't go wrong with the OEM lip.

Count me as another who doesn't care for the oem lip. I like it either clean or with a pronounced lip like say the APR or even CR lip.
