hey all i have a request for opinion and for pictures if anyone has ever tried to do this. was thinking about the look of a GPW S2k with a gt style wing just slammed to the ground on the trunk. maybe like 2 inches of clearance. so much so that the wings on the side actually hang below the top of the trunk. i know it would totally defeat the purpose of the wing from an areo perspective but just cant help but wonder if it would look cool or be just a super lame use of a 3k$ wing????

thoughts? anyone seen this before? opinions??

Look into the Ings low mount wing. Thats the only low mount I would go with

 

no not a duck bill style.. although i love that as well.. like a voltex gt3 or a j's racing gt2 wing...

but just dropped down all the way to about 2 inches of clearance under the main part of the wing...

 

Ings is not a duckbill style wing.... Ing's has a low mount GT wing. Here is the Ing's wing he is talking about:

You can probably do custom endplates on the Ing's wing to make it like what you're looking for.

 

OK that's what i am talking about.....

but not that dramatic... they look like some crazy fangs hanging off the back of that FD... i do love me some FD action....

maybe like 4 inches below the trunk line and really tight to the body...
