I have a MY01 SS and I finally found the right person I trust to paint my car and remove the 3-4 small dings and dents that irritate me everyday! I'm keeping the ap1 look but de-badging the front and rear emblems shaving the license plate holes and shaving the trunk key hole. More importantly I'm changing from SS to Moonrock metallic!!! I'm going full out aka door jambs and engine bay. This is the first time I've ever had a car painted but its being done by a local guy I work with and trust so I'm only marginally nervous. I was just looking for any input that you guys have about the process and I'm really interested to see how many people in the states have a moonrock metallic S. I'll post pics as soon as it's done should be around August 6th. Any suggestions would be welcomed. I'd really like to see pics of the moonrock metallic with blue interior. I was one of the only people I've ever seen that had an SS changed over to blue interior and I haven't been able to dredge up any pics of moonrock with blue interior. Thanks guys!

 

My car will be getting sprayed moonrock in the next week or so....I'm prepping the engine bay and door jams at the moment. I'll post pics for you once I get it started.

 

I had a Silverstone that I painted Moonrock, then I sold it to some guy who trashed the car Sad to see my hard work, blood, and sweat ruined but oh well... I had Black and Red interior on it.
