Default mugen lip

the car i would be looking to put this on is a MY06
is there any advantages to the mugen front lip other than looks. ive been searching but not found a conclusive answer. ive heard that there wind tested to generate downforce ( yes i know unless your doing 70 + or track days there wont be much benefit )
i know with the facelift lip it drops the front of the bumper lower, which in turn will stop less air getting under it so it might make a little difference in lift. but from what i can tell the mugen one does not drop as low and has openings on the sides.
it does look like it has been aerodynamically developed with the shape and fins on the outside, but im just guessing.

thanks
Ryan

I haven't noticed a difference with mine vs not having one. It is braced all the way back to the sub frame, so I imagine it does do something, however small.
