Default mugen style hardtop problems

My hardtop fitment isn't so well, because I can see a lot of outside spots in the sides of the top. I am not sure if its the brackets because it doesn't sit on my car right. Should I take it to a body shop? or what do you think because I just need and 1 inch more to sit on the car perfect. Have you guys had this problem? thanks guys

well it sits ok maybe a little I believe. But I can see on the sides of the hardtop that it doesn't sit perfect. From sitting inside the car i can see the outside a little on the both sides of the hardtop. Did you think the hardtop was made wrong or did I put the brackets wrong. I am a little worried. I feel it just needs an inch more to push to the front to set perfect. if you can send me ur email I can send you the pics because I don't know how to do it here.

You might need an extra person to help push Down as you tighten bolts I've also learned the putting the rubber on top the car vs the hard top is a much better method to getting the hardtop on

You can get more weather stripping from most hardware stores or more from one of the vendors here and I put my strip on that black thing going around the soft top

Forbidden makes nice replicas. Post a picture. One inch is a lot when talking about fitment.
