New OEM Trunk won't stay up

Hey I bought a new OEM trunk and it won't hold itself up. It came with two metal bars. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

Did you put the springs in? Those bars are the springs unless you're talking about something else.

yep those are it, does anyone have a picture of what they look like installed so I can see where to place them?
