So I'm going to repaint my entire car at home. My roommate used to work at a body shop painting professionally, so i have all the tools and equipment including paint booth. I just want to respray my car oem gpw (nh-565). I'm going to be painting my new hard top and front bumper as well. Where do i get the paint and clear coat? I want good quality paint and clear coat. I know I'm going to need 2 quarts of paint and a gallon of clear. I have $500 to spend on the paint and clear coat. I just need to find out where to get them. Any help?

 

I want to go with ppg deltron... Why is it so hard to find prices... Lol

 

I am certain your local automotive paint dealer will have quality paint.

 

I don't think $500 will be enough to paint your whole car...I only buy pints of paint but depending on color they range from $80 to $200 and a gallon of clear can range $100 to $400. Don't forget you'll most likely need primer and reducer as well

 

I run a paint store. Don't waste your money on ppg deltron. Find a matrix supplier. It is the identical paint as deltron at 40% less money. I don't mean comparable I mean identical.
