Default OEM or REPLICA AP2 lip ?

So I have $300 right now, and was wondering if I should save my money for the legit OEM AP2 lip from honda for $511.00 prepainted already
or go with the replica for $120 and color match paint for $100 to come out with $220 total and maybe buy the separate weather strip for it,
any suggestions ? and also if anyone is willing to sell the legit OEM lip for sebring silver cheaper than $511 please PM asap ! thanks !

If your front bumper has the original paint on it, I would go with the authentic OEM front lip; that way it would match up perfectly. If your bumper has been (or needs to be) repainted, I'd probably go with a replica or a used OEM one that needs to be repainted and have whoever painted the bumper paint the lip too.

Replica if you plan on slamming the car, that way you won't smash/crack the expensive one. Replicas are usually urethane so they just scrape

My front bumper has been repainted do to a scratch on it before and thanks, cause i'm not sure about a $500 lip if I plan on dropping the car pretty low atleast.

True, true. I just hope the fitment is on point if I go with the replica though haha.

I have one and I'd probably say that fitment is about 8/10. I just bought double sided tape I am going to put on due to a few small gaps. The only thing is that you won't get the OEM weather stripping but I hear you can buy that now too

OP, if you are OCD in any way, go with the OEM lip. I don't have OCD, although I feel like I do sometimes with my s2000, and the fitment of the replica, although very close to OEM, is still off, and it bothers me.
