Putting a AP2 04-up Bumper on a AP1 2000 Model?
Hey, it's probably a stupid question with an easy answer, but I'm new to the S2k...
Wondering how easy it is to switch out the old style 2000-03 S2000 front (or Rear) bumper covers out to the newer AP2 2004-up style bumpers??? Do the headlights have to get changed as well? And if so where is a place to get them cheap?
Thanks!

Dang man, you have been here 8 years and dont know this yet?
No you dont have to change the headlights, the are all the same shape. I have ap2 headlights and taillights on my ap1 front and rear bumpers.
The bumpers are almost a direct swap over. The front you will either have to trim, or get the AP2 crash bar. (The big metal beam with the styrafoam on it when you take the bumper off) The ap2 one is slightly smaller, and if you dont trim your ap1 one, or get the ap2 beam, over time it will crack the paint in that spot, and will try and go through the bumper.
The rear bumper you can bolt it on with no problems at all, but the brackets for the center of the bottom of the bumper are shorter on ap1's. You dont even have to have them, but it will make it less floppy and such. Most people just use some aluminum or something and make their own simple brackets to help it be secure.
Thats pretty much it.
