Default red s2000 emblems

Going with a black/red theme for my s2000. I have a BB and have recently painted my rims Black and added red H's to the center cap. Looks really nice. Now I want to paint my H's on the front and back red as well as the s2000 logo on the sides. Have you guys tried this? Wanted to see a picture of what they would look like before I decide to paint them . Black is my second choice, I've seen them on the CR's.

Thanks!

Here is my rim with the Red H

The paint will start peeling if you don't remove the chrome from the emblems. To remove the chrome you soak the emblems in bleach for about a week. I used a plastic container from some baby wipes. Replace the bleach every day. Use a popsicle stick to knock the chrome/copper off each day. By about day 3 they will look about as nasty as anything you've ever seen. Eventually the bare plastic will show through, the ones I've done have either been light blue or black underneath. Final prep them by sanding off any remaining copper bits. Then apply spray paint.

Here's a satin silver emblem I did to match my titanium silver Volks.

I tried to do the S2000 emblems but they didn't look great. They have a step on them that is black on the chrome version. If you paint the whole emblem the same color the step looks strange. Masking off the step and painting it satin black would be extremely difficult. If you're going for black just order the CR side emblems. Red would be tough to do. The S2000 emblems are not as strong as the H emblems, they break and warp if you're not careful.

yeah I wanted like a chrome/glossy RED but might just end up ordering the CR emblems. hopefully theyre not too costly online.

got the stickers on ebay, when I had the rims painted I had the wheel guys take the old emblem off and put the new red H emblem on top of the paint + added clearcoat
