Has anyone ever repaired a cracked OEM lip or had one repaired. I'm not impressed with the quality of the OEM style lips and want to have mine repaired and repainted. Any info would be great! Thanks!

 

I hit a possum with my OEM lip and cracked it. Had a body shop do a quote for a repair and respray (if necessary). His estimate would have cost more than me buying a replica off eBay and having it painted.

He also told me that he couldn't guarantee that it would look perfect, so I went with a replica.

 

Replica all the way. U can make them fit perfectly with a little work imo

 

OEM "style" or the real deal OEM?

Big difference between the two.

 

I would much rather have an OEM lip as appossed to my replica, but finding an OEM lip is next to impossible.

 

I know it's almost laughable to say but if anyone has a line on an OEM lip please feel free to pm me!! Any color, I am willing to have it painted. Thank you for your input so far!

I saw the thread about them getting produced, not what I'm wanting though. I want OEM so I know what I'm getting.

 

Waaaaat gears lip I've been looking for one for the past 5 months and still no luck

 

Check the for sale section regularly. Used OEM lips come up once in a while.
