S2000 Orange-less Tail Lights?

here are mine:



guess im alittle too late to this thread for the OP baking his tails

you need to drill the orange out with a 2.5" (iirc) hole cutter as they dont pop out independently from the red ring. its all one piece.

and the taillights crack about a million times more easily than the front headlights, so be very careful. i used a heat gun.

after drilling out the amber i replaced it with a clear pane of lexan, which you cant see except in person. guess i could've left that part out o well.

in hindsight i would've liked to have fluted that pane of lexan so that it matched the pattern on the reverse lights, but... o well, maybe i'll do it eventually.

Thanks for the heads up on the amber being one piece. Was hoping for it to be two pieces lol. They look good. With the certain colors like your laguna blue and my new NFR I think having those two clear lenses slightly tinted would look really good. Either way your ap2 tails look great and much better than the stock amber.

Only amber I think look good on this car are on the ap2 headlights. Whole reason I didn't clear my headlights.

the amber in the headlights must stay in! cleared out headlights look so drab and dull.
