Default Satin Black emblems

Hey, here some pics of my emblems i just put back on today. I started out just wanting to debadge the sides but found out the driver side fender was messed up under the "s 2000" So i decided to remove all the badges, sand them down (i used 220 grit and steel whool) and then repainted them. I did 4 light coats of satin black and 3 light coats of satin clear. The whole thing took me a day just because i let the black sit over night before clear coating.

Heres the reason i couldnt just debadge and be done

Front emblem

Rear emblem

Side emblem

Looks good

Wow, I had the same crap happen to me. Took off the S2000 emblem only to find half asssed repair done underneath. I just left it that way. I thought about doing them in black too but i'll debaged everything, fill holes and smooth it out soon enough.

I did the same thing but used the cr badging for the "s" and the 2000. Looks great. Lost my stock emblems in a freak accident in my own garage and thought the change would be nice. Looks great man.

thanks guys...i just put the black laminex things over my headlights and tail lights...the front turned out great but the back turned out TERRIBLE..i wouldnt recommend anyone trying to do the tails in it. the curves of the lights make it really hard to do. im going to take pics soon, pull them off and paint them.

I have a silverstone and really have been looking into the same thing. I was going to order the black chrome because I thought if I took my factory ones off that they would get trashed. Was it pretty simple to get them off? I have an AP2 also

That first pic looks like glue residue from the badges. If it is, 3M adhesive cleaner will remove it. I like your badges better than the OEM chrome.

Cr- S 2000 sides
Sprayed H's.. the front gets chipped up a lot.
Buy a roll of 3m double sided tape and you can re_do them every so often.

I wanna see more pics but from a little farther away. I was highly considering this but wasn't sure how it would look.
