Side Markers

Ok, here's how it turned out: VW side markers. They still stick out a bit, but IMO still look better than the OEM side markers. Best of all, yellow LED instead of a bulb!

Even looking straight on from the back or the front, they have great visibility.

they look pretty good. is it a true amber color, or a lil yellowish?

It is pretty amber, just hard to get a good cell phone pic with it. It matches the front/rear turn lights.

It wasn't too bad.. I had a dremel so it made quick work with a cutoff wheel and a sanding drum. Just gotta test fit to trim it enough to get it to slide in. It gets clamped in from behind so you can't pull it out without unscrewing the screws. Use a mini screwdriver. My markers were not OEM so I didn't have a torx head, just a regular phillips head.

Then just solder the wire ends on and crimp the spade terminal on. Wasn't bad. Did take about 2 hours to do both though.

DC2 side markers are pretty flush and dirt cheap on ebay. Plug and play no mods needed

These are the ones i got and didnt ran any problems and i also hardwire them to my daytime running lights and put them to reverse flash with the turn signal. WIN/WIN
