Default Silverstone to Black

ive had my S for about a year now. i got a good deal on it and its in good condition (stock at the moment), only ive never been a fan of silver. I want a Black s2000. what do you guys think, should i repaint mine, or buy a black s2000?

i really dont know much at all about car paint. cost of a decent paint job??? would it be easier to just sell my silverstone and buy a black S?

thanks.

like dsthez said, youre looking at a good chunk of change for paint. what i think is good about silver is that if you left your engine bay silver it wouldnt look bad.

if you just want a BB s2k then probably just buy another one. but you could also take advantage of the fact that you want to paint it and do a custom color, even a custom black maybe. the new accords have a sweet looking metalic black with some blue flake.

think of it this way if someone came up to you and said they'd do a swap your SS for their BB. Similar condition and mileage. Would you do the swap and save on a new paint job?

I'm still trying to decide whether its worth repainting my yellow to white, considering its a fairly large sum of money. There are hardly any white s2000s on the market over here in Australia so I don't think it'll be easy to just buy one.

Respray smashes resale, depends on whether that's important to you.
I was desperate for GPW too but settled on NFR with the thought of someday respraying her, but I don't think I ever will. Fell in love with the colour over time

Like others have said, it's probably not paying the $ to have your car sprayed another OEM color. Why not look into a vinyl wrap. It'll probably cost around $1k, for any color you want and then you can always take it off later.
