Default Soft top / A pillar Rubber Seal

Sorry if this has been asked before, I tried searching, maybe I'm not using the right keywords. I'd like to remove the rubber seal that goes between the A pillar / windshield and the soft top for paint. I am not talking about the seal between the glass and the windshield frame, I know that one is glued in. I'm talking about these rubber parts:

If they can be easily removed, is 04731-S2A-000 the right part number? They're $17 new if so.

The actual part number is 72320-S2A-043. It's expensive. So does anyone know how to remove/reinstall it, before I go yanking on it and tear something?

Ditto, looks like they went to Reddit and got some insight.
