Default Spark Plug Cover Paint

I am repainting my 2003 S2000 valve cover and spark plug cover. The spark plug cover that came with my car is/was black. I currently have stripped all of the paint off it and i will be looking to replicate the gold spark plug covers from later year s2000s. what paint do i need to get that gold color that 04+ s2ks come stock with. a paint code would be much appreciated. also is it a normal paint or is it wrinkle paint?

It's not really a paint. It's almost like a powdercoated. That would be your best bet to get the same finish.

I would source out a shop in your town that does it.

You could get a high temp gold paint and a high temp gloss which should give you a similar result.

Depending on your time and money, why not buy a used one from someone on here?

I just used red brake caliper paint, cleaned the cover really well and painted over the old stuff. Not perfect, but better than before.

I dont believe there is a paint code floating around for it. powder coating it shouldn't be very much at all.
