Default Thinking about buying a new OEM trunk lid

My Berlina Black trunk lid is covered with over 100 hail dents. PDR is not feasible as the cost would outweigh buying a new/used OEM trunk lid.

Been keeping an eye out for a used BB trunk lid but I haven't found one that is in mint condition.

I'm thinking about buying a brand new trunk and having it painted by a bodyshop. My only concern with that is they told me they need to "blend" it with the rest of the car otherwise there would be a noticeable mismatch in the panels.
As a result, I'm thinking about wrapping the new trunk with carbon fiber vinyl.

Questions:
-what color is the new unpainted OEM trunk lid? (is it primed or bare metal?)
-If I decide to vinyl wrap the unpainted trunk... will rust develop over time since it lacks paint? (What about the interior of the trunk that is not wrapped)?
-Should I let the body shop paint it and blend it into the body or can I get away with just having the trunk painted BB?
