Default Trunk floor pan damaged

Need some opinions here...

So I dropped off the at a local dealership (I was hoping to save myself a 30+ miles drive to the shop I usually go to...) to check out some issues with my oem brake calipers on 3/22. On 3/23 the service advisor called and said they couldn't service my car because it has been lowered and they couldn't get it on the hydraulic jacks in the shop. He also mentioned the car had quite a few "performance" modifications on it (bucket seats & rollbar) and suggested me to take it to a performance shop. Picked up the car on the evening of 3/23 with no work done on the car, and everything looked fine on the outside.

Fast forward to today. Taking the S out for some errand running around town and popped the trunk. First thing I noticed was the tool tray and cover were slanted and not properly seated. I went ahead and removed the took tray and discovered there's a bump at the bottom of the trunk pan. At this time I'm thinking "WTF." I then grabbed my phone and took some pictures from the trunk, and got underneath the car and took a couple more. From underneath the car, the cause of damage is clear: someone tried to use a floor jack and used the trunk pan as a jacking point. I'm 100% certain the damage was sustained while the car was at the dealership, because the pan wasn't damaged when I picked up the car from my shop on 3/18 and I had not put it on jacks. Since the service department is closed on Sunday, I have not yet contacted the service advisor yet.

I'm curious what my options would be for repairing the trunk pan:
1. Use some wood and rubber mallet just to push it back down, or
2. Order part # 65517-S2A-A01ZZ and replace the whole pan

I'm hesitant to bring the car back to the dealership again, but will contact to ask for them to cover the cost of repairs. All opinions, suggestions, & recommendations are welcome!

For you to purchase and replace the pan, you would need to drill the spot welds out and reweld and reseal it back in.

wood and a rubber mallet, the wider the wood the better. 8 x 8 might be best.

we just did this to a CR, owner couldn't be happier. previous owner was a dolt.

Im almost done completing the restoration of my 2001 AP1 S2000. I replaced the trunk/boot floor pan due to it being rusted. as metioned above, its simple, drill out spot welds, weld in new one, and reseal with rust proofer.

lost all my fotoes, but i had this one

Thanks for the ideas. I will look into them if the dealer isn't picking up the repair. So I called them earlier this week and set up a time to meet with the service manager today. Showed the manager the damage, and he took some pictures for their body shop. Told me he will check with the body shop and get back to me next week. I'm hoping that means they are going to repair it. We shall see... I will update later when I hear from them.
