Windshield/A pillar seal ........
Question. I want to know if this is common/normal with S2k ST when I latch the locks?
I recently had the front rubber seal replace by dealer under warranty. The rubber gasket/seal that I am talking about is the one that runs on the A pillars and up into the windshield frame where the soft top meets the windshield frame. I have notice that when I lock the soft top against the seal, it pulls the seal away at the corners(rounded area of windshield), however when I release the locks and I don't retract the top the seal makes better contact with the metal frame.
Is this normal with the car? or Should the seal stay in contact with WS frame? I just feel like water is going to trickle in and cause rust in the future. Could someone post close up picks of their S with ST locked against the seal.
The car is 2008 with only 3358 miles on the clock.
