Default Alignment Issues

So, i lowered my car on Megan coils(its pretty low but i wouldnt consider it "slammed"). I put some brand new Hankook Ventus RS3's on and was looking around for somewhere to get an alignment. I first went to a Firestone, where they told me that they cannot align cars that are not OEM, so a bust. I then went to a "specialty" alignment shop that said they would be able to align my car, i drove like 40 miles, only for them to scrape my poor s2000 all the way onto the rack like idiots and then look under the car only to tell me that they cannot align it because they said it "wouldnt do me any good." He said something about bushings and all this stuff that i do not know anything about. He also said that in order for him to correctly align my car that i would have to raise my car 2 inches all the way around?!?!?! A factory S2000 isnt even that high?!

I have no idea about anything alignment related so i just wanted to know from you guys if maybe he just didnt want to do it or if he really couldnt do it?

Thanks in advance, Alex

No worries, the front is really low but I don't see any reason why they couldn't align it because of height.
The only bushing I can think of that would cause an issue with alignment if torn would be the front lower control arm compliance bushing. It's the one that's closest to the rear of the car

That is probably the one that he was talking about. I am going to try one more shop on Monday. He says he does race cars and drag cars and he has seen it all so we will see. Hopefully he can get the job done. I just dont understand why it is so hard for me to get it aligned, there are so many lowered cars around here, wayyyy lower than mine, maybe they never got an alignment but i know some of them were getting it done somewhere, maybe i found the place.

Thanks for the help i will definitely keep an eye on that bushing to see if the next guy says something about it.

Give Johns Honda Cycling in Gaston a call. John races and would probably know at least where to send you.
