I have a 2001 s2000. If I get kw v3 coilovers, do I need axle spacers?

You can try it without and if you get an on throttle vibration then get them.

 

ok sounds good. Plus I don't plan on lowering it any further then I need to. I will not be dumping it.

 

I threw on some Zeals B2's after getting them rebuilt...yes, those are some really old guys...

Anyways, it dropped the car by a little over an inch. The rear of my car would vibrate during acceleration between 30-55 MPH. After adding spacers in there, the vibration was gone. Mind you, my car is 10 years old.

 

You need the axle spacers once you lower your car. When you lower the car, your changing the axle sitting point. Eventually they will wear the cups down. To prevent that, get the spacers. There only between 100-130 shipped. Worth it now then later.
