Default best s2000 coilovers

hey guys, im looking to buy some aftermarket coilovers. not really trying to spend more than $1,000. if i could i would get kwv3s. i dont track my car, so i would need the best coilovers for street / daily driving. the top three that come to mind for the best bang for your buck is bc, tein, bilstein. silvers were also brought up to me, but never heard about them. what do you guys think, i was leaning towards bc.

Bilstein PSS were fantastic street coilovers, better ride than stock, better handling, mild drop, I couldn't ask for better. I went with the non-adjustable version as I trusted the Bilstein shock engineers to tune them better than I could do myself. They would not be enough for a serious track car but a great street setup. Pss9 are adjustable.

I personally wouldn’t touch BC, but it isn’t like the HKS GT IV I have are ohlins or anything.

PSS or PSS9 work well if you don't plan to lower more than 0.5 or 0.75". They're an excellent shock for a mild drop.

Their springs are soft asf tho. I prefer the PSS9. Its a street car, as you said. So you'd just be tuning to your own level of comfort. No replacement for adjustment.

Try stretching your budget slightly. FA500 are like $1200-1300. And those are a killer value in that price range.

Tein Flex Z are twin tube...so...nah. And I was massively flaccid after riding in a car with BC.

Buddy club is a decent option too. My friend @Bseriously is trying to let go of his N+ for cheap.

I would look into the Feels brand that are available at RSG, they have different versions to suit different needs. Good luck in your search.

consider CR dampers with Swift springs for a budget solution.

I hate to agree, since this isn't in your price range, but if you're planning on keeping the car for any extended period of time, this is the answer! They're $800 more, but they're worth it in the long run for sure.

Will Long at AMS could hook you up with a deal on Fortune Autos for about that price for 500 Series Coilovers.
