Default Coilover install cost

I was quoted $675 for coilover (monoflex) install, ride height set and alignment. Is this a good price?

Find someone in your area to help you. Or get the service manual and some tools and do it yourself. I would never pay for this service, but wrenching is not for everyone.

If you can afford it and don't have any other options, I guess you will have to pay.

No way man thats a rip off in my opinion Alignment and install should be around 200 for both. Maybe another 150 tops for corner balancing.Thats just my .02 cents tho

thats what I thought. when my mechanic installed them on my type-r back in Greece he didnt even charge me for it as it took less than an hour for the install. If I had the tools
I would do it my self. Im also renting a place so I dont have a flat garage with shade so I can work on it even if i had the tools. Same thing happened when I bought the 4.77 final drive. I got it back in september and so far I havent found anybody to install it so I am trying to sell it. I hope the same doesnt happen with the suspension.
Mayebe I came to school in the wrong state as people in texas only drive trucks and most places only know how to fix the trucks. I hear in California it is different though, much more tuner friendly. what I dont understand though is how people pass emissions with such strict rules. My mechanic in Greece would stick the machine in the tailpipe of a Toyota Yaris and pretended it was my Integra

how good is he for setting up a coilover?

installation cost shouldn't be that high but if he's going to dial that in(assuming he's a qualified in that area) 675 doesn't sounds bad.

folks can install doesn't mean they know anything about dialing in suspension.

if the shop have lift and air tool, 3 hours is bullshit installation rate.

It took me less than an hour when i did it in my garage(with air compressor/impact wrench), which is not even that fast consider the fact that i am not reusing my tophats

I've been told by the only shop I've contacted so far that they won't install coil-overs I did not buy from them.
