Eibach Pro-Plus Kit
Hey got a couple questions. Been researching for a while and looking for a decent sway bar setup. Looking at the eibach kit. Comes with a front and rear sway bar for $320 which seams a pretty good price. Does anyone have experience using both together. Also from what I understand the eibach kit will help with noticeable gains but it's not so stiff I'll be understeering? Any other advice and comments are welcomed.
Next is the eibach pro springs. You can get the springs and sway bars for under $500 which seems like a steal. Now something I need help on is when I install the sway bars....if I decide to put in the pro springs and drop it 1 inch will it hurt the performance of the car. I know the stock suspension is rated for the stock spring rate/height but will the added stiffness make up for it??? Thanks guys.

I have the front and rear sway bars with the stock suspension and they are great. Tight in the twisties, but still supple due to the oe springs.
Eibach advertises the springs with sway bars as a matched set. I prefer to take a more scientific approach. Search for posts by member Twohoos. He created a report that he published for free download called "Characterization of the Honda S2000 Original Equipment Suspension Springs." Use this as your baseline information for developing the aftermarket suspension parts list for your car.
I have an '05. I installed the front bar on full stiff and rear on least stiff to most closely match the front/rear spring ratio of the OEM setup. When I select aftermarket springs I'll follow a similar plan for selecting spring rates because I like the handling characteristics of the stock setup.
You may want to alter the handling characteristics of your car, so you may want to go with different front/rear ratio to play with under/oversteer.
As far as shocks go, since you're going to a higher spring rate, you should go to a stiffer aftermarket performance damper or OE CR shock. At minimum, get something new and ditch worn out shocks.
Good luck and post a review with your results

hit a light pole after I hydroplaned doing about 15-20 miles in a horrible storm.
