Default Front End Feels "Wrong"

About two weeks ago, I pulled out my set of metal drive-up ramps so I could get under my car to do an oil change. A week before this, in my shop, a plastic bottle of wax fell off the shelf and broke open all over the ramps. I cleaned them off with Naphtha and degreaser and put them away. When I drove up onto the ramps and applied the brakes, the car continued to slide and the front wheels fell off the front of the ramps. The car landed squarely on the chassis rails (same extended metal strip running the length of the car between the wheel wells on both sides, which incorporate the jacking points, etc.). I could see no other metal to metal contact points though the front tires were pushed tightly against the ramps.

I took the car out for a drive and the front was pushing and pulling hard, tracking every detail in the road surface, with a heavy feel to the steering effort. I had the car aligned to the specs I always use, which improved the feel, but the car now steers much like I remember my Acura Integra: like a front-drive car fighting the steering. My alignment shop, staffed by guys who know what they are doing and who work on cars from hand-built rods to brand new Ferraris told me that they measured all the front suspension parts and nothing was bent, though the steering had been pushed off center (they realigned the steering so that the steering wheel is straight when the wheels are straight). I still suspect that I bent something that's hard to find in the front end. I would appreciate any opinions or ideas I can check out to get the car back to its old precise steering feel. Many thanks in advance. And yes, I am thoroughly embarrassed by driving my own car off the front of a set a simple ramps .

Thanks for the simple and helpful idea. I'll try to borrow my friends same year S2K and compare the steering.
