I have them on my s2000 and i daily it, i am pretty low though. it rides good for my preference, it is definitely stiff and rough though, I have the damper turned up pretty stiff. I have ridden in other cars with buddy club N+ and those felt softer and more forgiving. but the spring rate difference is 12k/10k for the FF2 versus 10k/8k for the BC N+'s. have you had cars with coilovers before? its best to sit along or test drive someone elses car to get a real feel for how the coil overs feel. one persons stiff or harsh is another persons livable or comfortable. I also had to drop a good amount of spring preload in the back to get to this height. so theres a couple more things to consider.

for reference, even though i've whored out this picture a bunch its the only decent side shot I have.

I am just wondering how much suspension travel is there with the shortened F&FII damper.

U probably not going to notice that much difference between coilovers on the street. Most of them are going to be really stiff. At 12k/10k linear springs, there isn't going to be too much suspension travel... it's 671 lb/in in the front and 559 lb/in in the back, with a 2800 lb car... you'll be looking at about 1 to 1.25 inch of suspension travel from being in the air vs being on the ground. when you're driving, i'm going to assume you'll probably have about +/- 0.5 inch either direction so about 1 inch of suspension travel?

just a little info for the op and anyone still interested in these coils.

I was not happy with the lack of preload and the amount of shock travel i had to loose in order to get the height i wanted. I also had a set of integra/civic extended top hats for use with koni shocks. These are just generic copies of the ground control ones. I adapted these to use with my function and form coilers to get back the preload.

This was only for the rears, the fronts have PLENTY of room to go.
I also added roll center adjusters the combo has allowed me to literally lay frame. I had to raise up the coil overs dramatically.
