Default Geometry and lowering - I've just been scared!

Hey guys, i've just rang one of the best renound places for s2ks we have and had a 20 minute conversation about the car and what i want to do.

Now i've bought coilovers and i want the tyre to just sit on the arch so not overally slammed but not high at the same time, probably around 60mm..

After explaining this and that i wanted -3 neg on the rear and -2.3 neg on the front, i was then told it will be best if i purchase adjustable rear toe arms as they wont be able to get the toe correct with -3 at the rear. And also reconmended to buy uprated bushes for the rear lower arms as they take much of the lateral force.

Can anyone confirm if this is correct, none of my bushes are seized as i've checked them.

I thought at 60mm -3 rear and -2 front was obtainable with all the standard equipment.

Thanks Rob

Damn, that's a lot of negative camber. Why so much?

I've got some wide rear wheels so need the camber to fit them!

It seems 100s are running this sort of camber or more on standard adjustment, i just want confirmation i'm not going to have to run aftermarket toe arms etc really..

Cheers

I can't answer about the arms, since I'm not dropped that much, but I'm running 285/30-18's on 10" wide wheels with a fender roll and bumper tab relocation, and I think I just have about -1* camber.

Not true at all. I had my car set up by one of the best race shops in the east, and he set my car up to -3.5 rear with no problems.

My car was done between a Lambo LP640 and a 911GT3, then roadtested by the race team's test driver, who said it handled incredibly well.
