Default hawk pads

I apologize, I cannot get search to work for me ever so I must ask now because I need brake pads and rotors like yesterday. Since my autocross days I used to run hawk pads and wish to run them again even though I have yet to do an event in my s2000. I really just need a pad for aggressive street driving and maybe an autocross or two thrown in, I wont be doing any road racing / track days to my knowledge. Should I be looking at the hps or hp+ pads? And where is a good site to buy them from? For rotors does it really matter which ones I get?

who cares about what ppl think. i like the fact that ppl think my brakes might suck when its the opposite.

look into axxis ultimates. im currently running them. they squeal alot less than the hp+. a friend of mine runs the hp+ on his S and im jealous that his squeals way louder/ more

most/any quality performance pad is gona squeal and dust "because racecar"

f@#k what other people think...why do you care? At any rate, a trained ear can tell the difference between good high performance brake squeal and worn pads. Anyone said anything to me I'd just laugh at them and shake my head.

I just ran a track day on new HP + pads. I planned to take them off after the track day but have gotten used to them and really enjoy them on the street. Yes, they are occasionally noisier than OEM but the performance and bite they give on the street far outweighs the noise. If bedded in properly they are phenomenal for the price. My friend runs HPS on his MS3, he got in my S and just about threw us through the windshield because he was used to stepping on his brakes so hard to get any performance.

Just my $.02

Good luck with your decision.

OMG these pads are loud (hp+)!!! Of course the shop that I had install them threw away my shims so maybe thats contributing to the noise. The performance is amazing though just driving with them on the street.
