Default How to rebuild front calipers?

I have an s2000 thats been stood for a while and as a result all the calipers are siezed. Does anyone have any advice on how to rebuild the front calipers using the rebuild kits on ebay? Or a link to a how to guide?

Thankyou for your help

Personally I would buy remanufactured calipers from a quality supplier that only used oem seals and components. Otherwise I would buy oem rebuild kit, not fleabay for something this critical, on a car like this.

To rebuild: (admittedly this is not S specific, rather its how I've done on other cars)

Remove caliper

Use compressed air into brake line connection to pop piston out (make sure to catch it in a rag so it doesn't get damaged)

Remove old seal from caliper, being careful not to scratch bore

Remove seal from piston, being careful not to damage piston

Thoroughly clean caliper and piston

Put new seals on

Lube seals and piston and bore with brake fluid

Push piston back into bore

Its a simple job, but sometimes piston doesn't want to come out. Sometimes piston is corroded and must be replaced.

Once on a decades seized motorcycle caliper I had to heat it tremendously to get piston out. But bore and piston were both still useable (it was a Harley, so not a performance application by any stretch).
