Default KW Variant 2's or HKS Hypermax

Hello,

I am looking into purchasing some coilovers for my AP2, but I am having some trouble deciding on the right coilovers. I eventually will be going flush with my wheels so there will be no need to "Slam" the car. However for the time being I do not want any wheel gap. So my question is: out of the two brands mentioned above which ones handle better? And which does everyone prefer?

I have KW v3's and they are awesome. ride is a little rougher but all aftermarkets will dimish comfort a little. some bump steer but the car is basically on rails. I dont know what is different between V2 and V3 but KW is the bees knees!!

Haha thanks! I have definitely been leaning towards the KW's I just wanted to get a few more opinions first. This helps!

the hks are rough if you live in an area with bad roads. v3's are definitely more comfortable and are a great track performer. not sure about v2's.

You simply can't go wrong with KW. It's popular for a reason. You'd probably want to find more reviews of HKS before considering it.

Just to back up my suggestion for the v3's, I have the hks and love them. The only thing i hate is that even on full soft, there are some huge jump/drops on some freeways in socal that would shoot me out of the car if i had the top down and no seatbelt on lol. On the streets of irvine they're great though. i've been in a friend's car with v3's and they are definately more comfortable while still being very performance oriented.

the v2 and v3 are pretty different and you cant compare the hks to the kw's when th hks is more expensive then the v3 not to mention the v2
