Default KW Variant 3 too rough for daily driver, HELP!

I bought my S in December and it came pre-installed with KW Variant 3s from the previous owner. After 2-3 days of driving through rough bumpy roads I was very concerned. Bone jarring to say the least and would guess my wheels are also now out of balance. Anyways I did some research and learned how to adjust the stiffness and set them to softest setting-both rebound and compression. Helped a little but still a LONG way from what I need in my daily driver. So my question is what would be a decent setup that focusses mainly on comfort but still has a 1-1.5" lowered look and decent cornering in twisties. I'm probably gonna end up selling these to fund my new setup and would like to make a little cash profit to boot. I've heard Koni Yellows with aftermarket springs but I'm open to any opinion. I'm running 18" TSW wheels. If I can't get a decent setup I may return to stock even though I love the way these KWs stick a corner like no car I've ever driven before. I live in Chattanooga, so if there's anyone close that wants to make an offer on these let me know, Thanks in advance.

My guess is you will hear recommendations for Bilstein PSS, but I can't say from experience. Do you know how many miles are on your V3s? I may be interested in them, and I'm just ~2hr away (Huntsville).

I think you should get used to it. Don't give up your KWs for PSS.

you can fiddle it all day and the springrate will not change, if you can't enjoy the current setup, sell it and don't let anyone tell you other wise.

Yes, KW is a good set up for track but it's not really adding anything if you can't enjoy.

not sure out of the box koni yellow is a good alternative, are they twin tube out of the box? you might want to look into CR suspension instead

Koni yellow are twin tube. I'd skip spending a lot of money, and just get softer springs for the KW.

So softer springs for the KWs might be the best option, I'm not sure what spring rate these are and assumed they came from KW included in the kit so might do some research and find out. What would be a good replacement or spring rate?

You know.... KW V3s are generally considered to ride BETTER than stock. My KW Clubsports with the rebound set relatively soft rides very soft which is much better than stock. If you have not already, you can download the installation instructions from the KW website. The recommended starting setttings are extremely soft and acutally not nearly enough rebound in the rear. But maybe it's worth a shot to see if that helps.
