Default Lowering my car

Hey guys I have Bilstein pss9's and I want to lower my car, but im not sure how. Can anyone tell me how to lower it? I looked at my coilovers and there are two rings at the top(pictured) what way do I turn them to lower it? My coilovers dont have the helper springs(came on the car without) and im not sure how low I can go because im afraid I might loose the preload. If anyone can shed some light on this that would be great!

-Thanks

Just drop it. you cant lower your car without losing pre-load. European coilovers are made like that, for daily driving comfort.

Spray it down it water or just clean it first. That will make it so much easier to lower since dirt gets stuck on the thread. Hopefully you have that tool (some kind of wrench) to lower it. If not you should be able to turn it by hand. And just move it down to your liking.

Just turn the collars counter clockwise. Wash the threads under the collar with soap+water+a tooth brush. It will help ALOT!

There is a spanner wrench that comes with PSS9s and most coilovers new. Hopefully you have that wrench. Else a pair of thick gloves and some brawn will be needed.
