Default need help understanding spring rates

im planning to purchase the function and form coilovers soon. they come with eibach springs with custom rates; 8k, 10k, or 12k. is 12k really really stiff? should i go stiffer in the front or the rear or keep it the same all around?

my S is a daily driver and i dont plan on auto-Xing, i go on the occasional spirited drive through the hills and like to have some fun, but i dont "need" anything too aggressive. i would like to maintain some comfort, but i wouldnt mind going a little stiffer than stock.

anyone have any recommendations? advice? knowledge to give me? ive heard good things about F&F and they are about $1000, is there anything better for the price?

Thanks in advance!
