prices for ST40 front BBK rings are much better than what's available for the C43.
The crazy thing is that pre-pandemic before aftermarket (and stoptech) supply chains with China got rocked, the C43 was marketed as the low cost consumables alternative to the ST40, with rings costing $100 a piece, and then they started exploding and cracking prematurely. the replacement rings ended up being more expensive than the rings for the ST40... and now, they're only available via third party suppliers. Glad that I didn't replace my ST40 with a C43
C42... i got mine at bargain price used, but got concerned when I couldn't find rings. I just ordered a spare set. I'm hoping that they last forever - i'm seeing almost zero wear on the rear pads after 8-9 track days on them.

I will note that the set I received was manufactured in Mexico instead of China which is where previous sets of rotors came from so hopefully the Mexico rotors don't explode.
I also picked up a set of the SpeedFreaks C43 rotor rings.
