OEM Equivalent Caliper Slide Pin Boots
The slide pin boots on the rear brakes of my AP1 are shot. It looks like Honda only sells these as part of a caliper seals set with grease that retails for $45. I tried our local O'Reillys for an aftermarket set, but it seems like the diameter is a bit too small as I had to push the pin in really hard although it does move well once in. Ideally, I find a properly sized third-party set for a reasonable price. Let me know what you have found that worked well. RockAuto has a few different brand options, but I'm worried that their diameter will be too small as well based on Amazon reviews.
I mean, if boot worn out maybe seals are too. Why not bust the budget and do a full rebuild?
If no funds for that now, look for a cheap aftermarket rebuild kit that includes boots, then just use the boots. The seals (that you won't use) are what separates a good rebuild kit from a crappy one.

I know this is an old thread but I'm still interested in any experience with aftermarket slide pin boots for the S2000. I just went through 3 different front sets from Rabestos, Advance Auto and one off brand loand none of them fit. The outside diameter of the boots don't fit the caliper bracket bore. If forced in the pin can't be inserted. Had similar issues with rear ones but not as bad. Tight fit but pin will slide. So...anyone have hands on experience with finding a brand that fits or is OEM the only option?
