Default Own KW variant 3?

How is everyone doing?! Just wondering if anyone is using softer rates than the out-of-the-box rates. I bought a used set for MY02 and they are still really rough over rocks and bumps compared to my OEM. It's set at 3 clicks from full SOFT at the top of the shock. I think its at 3 sweeps from full SOFT at bottom of shock. The damping is much smoother over larger bumps compared to OEM. The handling is noticeable improved and overall the car feels more planted. Anyways, any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

mine came with 468 springs.
i think they're too soft.

i'm not sure how you count from full soft - you should turn it clockwise untill full close/stiff and that start from there.

i'm at 7/10 clicks rebound f/r (top adjuster) and at #3 bump (bottom adjuster).
from full stiff!!!

this is quite compfortable.
going 1-2 more clicks on top makes it really really soft (but too much body roll for me).

Instead of messing with the suspension for ride compliance over 'rocks and bumps', you may actually want to change your tires. Some tires ride very rough (like the stock Re050s that came on AP2s, or Yokohamas in general) or very soft (like Toyos).

I will readjust starting from the full stiff positions.

Come to think of it I never checked what the spring rates were. They came with tophats so I just popped them in. I believe I oveoooked the rates because they were faded or couldnt be read on the springs. I just assumed they were out-of-the-box spring rates.

How low are you? In terms of fingers or fender-to-center of the wheel measurents

You're absolutely correct! I have AP2v2 on some worn rears RE050

Im leaning towards the Continental DW. I would love to get a set of Pilot Super Sports or even Potenza RE-11A but those are so pricy!
