Default Pardon my ignorance . . .

Ok, so when I have the top up, I hear a knocking noise going over bumps at low speeds coming from left and right rear suspension. I recently removed the rear sway bar from the subframe mount when installing a new diff, so this could be a culprit. I sprayed with silicone before reinstalling though. I preloaded the rear upper arms before torquing to spec, so that shouldn't be an issue. Any other ideas? I've heard endlinks can make noise, but I'm not sure how to tell if they are faulty or not. Are they a part that is either broken or not broken, or do they make noise as they wear?
