Default Rear end noise

The car is making a weird rear end noise when going over small bumps at low speeds.
I'm tryng to isolate it but cant get to make the noise when the car is stopped and pressing on any of the ends. Im thinking springs gone bad maybe or dry bushings?

Those rear end noises are a bear to get resolved. I hydroplaned my 01 into a wall at 70 2-years ago and had it rebuilt (not my choice) to the tune of $26K. It was a good as ever, better in lots of ways, for the first year. Then I started to get the same noise you described. I had all the typical checks...service bulletins...spare tire checks.... everything mentioned in various posts of this type. The thing that fixed the problem was finally to replace the rear struts. After doing that the noise disappeared AND a new energy was released...no longer was energy in turns being mechanically dissipated but instead directed uniformly in the direction of the turn...simply put, I was keeping MUCH more speed coming OUT of turns than in several months of learning to cope with it being dissipated. That's my recommendation to you...don

I would say there is a big chance its caused by dirty, dry bushings.

What should I do about the bushings?

Just have them lubed?

Thanks

Pick up a can of silicone at your local Honda dealer. I believe it is 100% silicone. (not petrolium based) Being that you live in a warm climate, you should spray the silicone to ALL the rubber underneath your car, including cv boots at least once or twice a year. The silicone will condition the rubber and will be absorbed very quickly by the rubber.

Do NOT use a petrolium based lube on any rubber on your car.
