Default rear coilover stiffness

i've been searching online for an answer and can not find one. i have ARK ST-P coilovers installed on my s2000. my main issue is that the rear coilovers are wayyy to stiff. almost so stiff that the car feels unstable to drive over bumps/dips, if that makes any sense?

they are dampening adjustable and i had them on full stiff, i figured the easy solution would be to bring them down to around 7. they still ride VERY harsh.

before i bring them down to 1, would it be safe to have the rear at 1 and the front at say 10 or 7 clicks?

i guess a good way to describe it would be it feels almost like no compression/rebound.

please help!

-Nick.

Hey did you adjust the top bolt that holds the to hat? I read that over tightening would give you that sort of rough ride..if you search google..ark coils install, there is a tiberon site that says it.
